Meet the three owners of Charleston Bay Gourmet Catering: Kieran DiMaio (left), Sara Prezioso (right), and Joe DiMaio (middle).
Kieran DiMaio started her culinary career as a chef but eventually pivoted to the planning side of the culinary world in 2107 when she began working for Charleston Bay Gourmet. When her boss and previous owner of CBG hinted at retirement at the end of 2022. she decided to discuss taking it over with her husband, Joe DiMaio. He is a veteran Charleston culinarian, who already owns his own private chef company, Chainey Briar Chef Solutions. After a little discussion, they knew it was a no-brainer and thought of the perfect person to join them as Executive Chef, Sara Prezioso. Sara has been at the Darling Oyster Bar for the past 10 years, accumulating a plethora of restaurant and catering experiences.
Charleston Bay Gourmet has been in business for over 30 years and we plan to continue the legacy while bringing a fresh new look to Lowountry catering.
